While conducting the Charleston Symphony in West Virginia, Mr. Dishinger developed a series of children’s concerts for local schools and collaborated with established and rising talents to bring a taste of vocal and instrumental works to outlying communities – an effort dear to him for the exposure he had as a youth. Soon thereafter, this passion to connect young people with music seeded the formation of Medici Music Press.
